Video: "There is a plan to relocate the zoo" - Avinyan

There is a plan to relocate the zoo and keep the animals in better, more open conditions. This was stated by Yerevan's Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan at a special session of the council.

Avinyan noted that the current conditions of the zoo do not allow for adequate care. He also informed that “the area designated for Yerevan Park is 150-157 hectares. We have a significant plan for afforestation, greening, and relocating the zoo to provide better conditions for the animals.”
