VIDEO: '11,000 is not a random number.' Kocharian comments on Anna Hakobyan's statement
'11,000 is not a random number. It might even be a bit more. Don’t forget that a rapid partial mobilization was being carried out, and in many cases, that mobilization did not arrive, or it was delayed, and the troops could not be gathered in a short time.' This was stated by Andranik Kocharian, the Chairman of the National Assembly's Defense and Security Committee, during a conversation with reporters while commenting on the statement made by the Prime Minister's wife, Anna Hakobyan, that there were 11,000 deserters during the 44-day war.
Kocharian also mentioned that there are criminal cases involving thousands.
