The Name of Russia's Richest Businessman Revealed: Forbes
Forbes has published its 37th annual ranking of the world's wealthiest people. This year, there are 110 Russian billionaires on the list, 22 more than last year, but significantly lower than in 2021 when Russia was represented by 123 participants.
Andrey Melnichenko, founder of EuroChem and a Siberian coal energy company, has taken the top spot in the Russian Forbes list, with his wealth more than doubling in a year to reach $25.2 billion.
In second place is Vladimir Potanin, head of Norilsk Nickel, with a net worth of $23.7 billion. The third place is held by Vladimir Lisin, chairman of the board of directors of the Novolipetsk Steel plant, with $22.1 billion.
