Lusine Kirakosyan's Final Farewell in Yerevan, Burial in Gyumri

The farewell ceremony for the Honored Artist of Armenia Lusine Kirakosyan will take place today, April 4, from 14:00 to 15:30 at the Hrachya Ghaplanyan Dramatic Theater in Yerevan.

The burial will take place on April 5 in Gyumri. This information was reported by the Hrachya Ghaplanyan Dramatic Theater in Yerevan.

Lusine Kirakosyan was born on December 4, 1946, in Gyumri. While studying in school, she also worked at the Gyumri Dramatic Theater. In 1969, she graduated from the Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinematography, where she studied under Vardan Ajemian. That same year, at the invitation of Hrachya Ghaplanyan, she began working at the Yerevan Dramatic Theater as an actress.

In 2007, she was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Armenia, and in 2010, she received the HTGK “Artavazd” award for Best Supporting Actress.

The actress passed away on April 3. On March 18, Lusine Kirakosyan was transported by ambulance to the Erebuni Medical Center, where, after appropriate examinations, she was diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia.
