Dog Instead of Bird: Twitter Rebrands Its Logo

Twitter has changed its logo, replacing the iconic blue bird with a Shiba Inu dog from an internet meme. This dog is also used as the logo for the Dogecoin cryptocurrency, which is supported by Twitter’s owner Elon Musk.

Against this backdrop, the value of the cryptocurrency has risen. Twitter's previous logo had been in use since 2012. The social network's management has not explained the changes or clarified whether this decision is temporary.

Elon Musk simply posted a screenshot of a conversation with a user who requested him to change the bird logo on his page, writing, “As promised.”
