Suspect Detained in Connection with Explosion at St. Petersburg Café
Daria Trepova, who has been arrested on suspicion of involvement in the murder of military commentator Vladlen Tatarsky, confessed to bringing a figurine to the café that exploded. The young woman made this statement on Monday in a video provided by the press center of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“I brought a figurine there, which exploded,” she said. She promised to provide more details later.
An investigation is underway to determine who organized the explosion that resulted in the death of the Kremlin-friendly military commentator Maxim Fomin, who worked under the pseudonym Vladlen Tatarsky.
