Pothole Repair Works Begin Today in All Administrative Districts: Yerevan Municipality

“Pothole repair works begin today in all administrative districts,” announced Khoren Grigoryan, head of the Construction and Urban Development Department of the Yerevan Municipality. He informed that renovation works have commenced.

In response to a question from Yerevan Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan, Grigoryan addressed the construction works for an alternative road connecting Norq Marash district to Saralanj Street. He announced that the opening of the construction tender will take place on May 2. “Since this is not just a medium repair, but rather a major renovation, the entire project of the road should have been implemented, which is why the works were delayed,” he stated.

He noted that the focus is mainly on a 1.5 km stretch of road. Tigran Avinyan warned to be cautious about deadlines: “It’s better to always say a longer timeframe than to say and not do it.”
