Attempts to Sow Discord Between Russia and Armenia Are Futile, Says Russian Interior Minister
Attempts to sow discord between Russia and Armenia are futile. This statement was made by the head of the Russian Interior Ministry, Vladimir Kolokoltsev, during a meeting in Moscow with Armenia's Minister of Internal Affairs, Vahe Ghazaryan.
According to the press service of the Russian Interior Ministry, Kolokoltsev expressed confidence that all attempts by unfriendly countries to create disagreements in Russian-Armenian relations would be in vain, and that cooperation between the interior ministries would develop in a coordinated manner for the benefit of the peoples of both states.
At the same time, the head of the Russian Interior Ministry drew attention to the complex historical period of forming a multipolar world order. He remarked that one of the instruments of hybrid confrontation against our country by the "Collective West" has become the cultivation of anti-Russian sentiments in post-Soviet states.
Kolokoltsev emphasized the relevance of multilateral cooperation within the CSTO framework and the active participation of Armenian partners in it.
