Kyiv Court Imposes House Arrest on Senior Clergyman
A Kyiv court has decided to impose house arrest on a senior clergyman after he justified Russia's invasion of Ukraine, an act that is considered a criminal offense in Ukraine.
According to the court's ruling, Metropolitan Pavel has been placed under house arrest and is required to wear an electronic bracelet, as reported by the Associated Press. The cleric, however, does not admit guilt.
He is expected to remain under house arrest for 60 days.
