Authorities Find Missing Children in Sochi
As of March 31, five missing children in Sochi have been found. This was reported by the press service of the city administration.
Earlier, it was reported that the children had gone out for a walk together and did not return home in the evening. They were last seen swimming in one of the hotel pools. More than 70 people, including both professionals and volunteers, were involved in the search efforts.
"The search for the missing children in Sochi has concluded. The boys have been located. Everything is fine with the children. An operational headquarters was established for the search. City police units were focused on finding the children," stated the city hall.
At the same time, the "ЧП Сочи" Telegram channel claims that there were not five, but six children, although this information has not yet been officially confirmed. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia informed RIA Novosti that the children were found on Lenin Street in the Adler district. The minors have been returned to their parents. Preliminary information indicates that no illegal activities were conducted against the teenagers. Law enforcement is now determining the causes and circumstances of the incident.
