Lukashenko: "We Must Stop Now, Before Escalation Begins" Regarding the Start of World War III
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, addressed the nation and the parliament, proposing to cease military operations in Ukraine and declare a ceasefire.
“We must stop now, before escalation begins. I will take the risk of proposing to halt military operations, declare a ceasefire—without the right to move, reposition troops from both sides, without the right to transfer weapons, ammunition, and military equipment,” said the state leader.
According to him, if the West tries to use the ceasefire for its own objectives, Russia is obliged to utilize the full power of its military-industrial complex and army to prevent the escalation of the conflict.
He also noted that a third world war is looming on the horizon, potentially ignited by a nuclear fire.
