Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs Issues Statement Regarding Fire in Central Tbilisi
A fire that broke out at the "Ambassador" hotel in Tbilisi has been contained. 16 fire-fighting units from the Ministry of Internal Affairs are currently working on the scene.
According to preliminary data, the fire began on the fourth floor of the three-story and four-story building. Firefighters and rescue workers remain on site, and efforts to resolve the situation are ongoing, the statement said.
