Cameras to be Installed on the Road Leading to Hrazdan Gorge, Says Arabkir District Head

The fight against illegal dumping of construction waste in the areas adjacent to Hrazdan Gorge has undoubtedly yielded significant results, but in order to completely eliminate such incidents, local global solutions are necessary. This was stated by the head of the Arabkir administrative district, Aram Azatyan.

“As a result of a working tour conducted with the advisor to the mayor of Yerevan, Kamo Areyan, and the head of the municipal public order service, Aram Gyulzadyan, we have decided to install road signs prohibiting the entry of vehicles loaded with construction waste, additional recording devices, and to close road access to the gorge with concrete barriers. Agreement has been reached to strengthen police patrol control,” he wrote.
