Attacked and Fled at Cosmic Speed: CPP MP on the Incident

Armenia's ruling party MP Arpi Davoyan has provided details regarding the incident between 'Armenia' bloc MP Mher Sahakyan and Vladimir Vardanyan, the chairman of the Permanent Committee on State and Legal Affairs.

“Today, during a working discussion in the Permanent Committee on State and Legal Affairs, MP Mher Sahakyan attacked committee chairman Vladimir Vardanyan, inflicted bodily harm on him, and fled at cosmic speed. This disgraceful act, uncharacteristic of an MP, must have consequences for the aforementioned allied member of parliament,” Davoyan wrote on her Facebook page.

It’s worth noting that a brawl occurred just moments ago in the Armenian National Assembly’s Permanent Committee on State and Legal Affairs during a closed-door discussion, where MP Mher Sahakyan struck committee chairman Vladimir Vardanyan.
