Snowfall in Gyumri, Chambarak, Gavarr, and Stepanavan: Road Conditions Update

The Rescue Service reports that there are closed roads in the territory of Armenia. The roads leading from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station to the Amberd Fortress and the Qari Lake are closed in the Aragatsotn Province.

In the Ashotsk region, there are patches of black ice on the roads. Snow has fallen in the cities of Gyumri, Chambarak, Gavarr, and Stepanavan.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
