The information published by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Artsakh, stating that Azerbaijani forces have closed off a temporary section of the Goris-Stepanakert road, pertains to the road that was to serve us until the completion of the road via Kornidzor. This was noted by interethnic relations expert Nairi Hovhikhyan on his Telegram channel.
“Initially, there was an agreement to hand over that section of the road to Azerbaijan between Nikol Pashinyan and Ilham Aliyev, and for months we have been shouting about this criminal deal, yet people preferred to believe the silence of Armenia’s criminal authorities rather than the looming new handovers,” Hovhikhyan emphasized.
Thus, the following have passed to Azerbaijan:
- Part of the famous banner “Free Artsakh Welcomes You”
- A segment of the statue constructed in the likeness of “Dedo Babo”
- Hundreds of hectares of land serving as pasture for the village of Tegh.
Now, the residents of Tegh are also going to be under the enemy's target.
Meanwhile, the road being built through Kornidzor connects to the bridge over the Agavn River and will reach the village of Hineshen in Artsakh, and from there towards Madshen, Lisagor, and Stepanakert.
It remains to open the Shushi-Karinak crossroads, which the enemy has kept closed for more than 100 days. The connection of Artsakh to the Motherland is not completely severed, and we continue to provide humanitarian and other necessary supplies to Artsakh by all possible means,” Hovhikhyan noted.
