Major Accident at Sotk Gold Mine: Victim Airlifted to Yerevan

A major accident occurred today, March 30, in the Gegharkunik region. According to Shamshyan.com, around 15:00, a serious incident took place in the area of the Sotk gold mine, owned by GeoProMining Gold LLC.

During reverse maneuvering, Nver A., a 60-year-old resident of the Gegharkunik region, driving a BelAZ truck with the number 16, collided with a Mitsubishi vehicle driven by 31-year-old Aram A., also a resident of the region.

Aram A. was transported to the Vardenis medical center with severe injuries, and subsequently airlifted by a medical helicopter to one of the hospitals in Yerevan.
