Residents of Lisagor Deprived of Drinking Water Due to Azerbaijani Blockade

The mayor of Lisagor, Gagik Nasibyan, informed a correspondent from Artsakhpress that prior to the closure of the road by Azerbaijanis, extensive work was being carried out to provide irrigation and drinking water. However, since this work was not completed, the issue of water remains a top priority at this time.

“It is more serious than the fact that the village is under enemy control, because people can survive through cultivating the land. The adjoining plots of land are being farmed, but there is no water to irrigate them. We have already managed to sow some crops. Work is still ongoing in the village, despite the concerns among residents,” said G. Nasibyan.

The mayor noted that the residents are steadfast, not backing down, and continue to work hard to maintain the village. “All we want is peace, so that all concerns can be overcome, and we can continue to contribute even more devotedly to our homeland,” he summarized.
