Lars is Closed: What is the Situation on Armenia's Roads

The Rescue Service reports that there are closed roadways in the territory of Armenia.

The roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station in Aragatsotn province to the Amberd Fortress and from there to the Kari Lake are closed.

According to information received from the Emergency Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed for all types of vehicles.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
