French Woman Faces Jail for Calling Macron 'Trash'

A woman in France has been arrested for labeling President Emmanuel Macron as 'trash' on social media. This was reported by the Voix du Nord newspaper.

According to the report, three police officers arrived at the woman's home, took her into custody, and transported her to a police station. She has been charged with 'disrespecting a person responsible for state authority.'

For this act, she now faces a potential sentence of one year in prison and a fine of 15,000 euros. Her case is set to be heard in court on June 20.
