60-Year-Old Woman Stabs 19-Year-Old Youth, Arrested

In the Lori region, a 60-year-old woman has stabbed a 19-year-old youth with a souvenir dagger. This information has been reported by the press service of the Police of the Republic of Armenia.

The police received a report from the ‘Alaverdi’ medical center that a 19-year-old was admitted with a penetrating stab wound to the shoulder area.

The young man stated that he had been stabbed by an unknown individual in one of the buildings in the Sanahin-Sarahart second neighborhood.

Through the operational and investigative measures undertaken by the criminal investigators of the Tumanyan division of the police, it was revealed that the injury was inflicted by his 60-year-old neighbor using a souvenir dagger.

The 60-year-old woman has been arrested. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
