"We Will Play for Victory": Vahan Bichakhchyan

The midfielder of the Armenian national football team, Vahan Bichakhchyan, believes that the team will take the field against Cyprus with the aim of winning.

"There are no friendly matches in the national team; we are focused and ready to play for our fans and our nation. We will play for victory," he said during a meeting with journalists.

Bichakhchyan is prepared to play the full 90 minutes, even though he only came on as a substitute in the 70th minute during the game against Turkey.

The Armenian national football team will host the Cypriot national team on March 28 at the Republican Stadium. The match is set to kick off at 19:00 Yerevan time.
