Sarwan Singh's long beard has earned him the title of world record holder for the third time. This has been reported by various news outlets.

The Canadian resident first became a record holder in 2008. He secured the title again in 2010. Last October, Sarwan once again caught the attention of Guinness World Records representatives and proved for the third time that he is the owner of the world's longest beard, which measures 2.54 meters.

Sarwan practices Sikhism, which is why he has never cut his beard since he was 17 years old.
