Situation on Roads in Armenia and Lars

The Rescue Service reports that there are closed roads within the territory of Armenia. The roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station in Aragatsotn Province to the Amberd Fortress and to the Kary Lake are closed.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia's North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed to all types of vehicles.

Drivers are advised to travel only with winter tires.
