Current Situation on Roads in Armenia

The Rescue Service reports that there are closed roads in the territory of Armenia.

In the Aragatsotn region, the roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station to the Amberd fortress and to the Kary lake are closed.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Situations Department and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations' Crisis Management Center in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
