VIDEO: Woman with a stockings mask attacks homeowner, sprays deodorant in her eyes, demands jewelry and money

On March 22, at 10:15 AM, a report about a robbery was received by the Vardenis police department. The mother of a 31-year-old woman, living on Lerner Lavosh Street, had left for work around 8 AM and left the door open. A woman wearing a stockings mask entered the house, attacked the 31-year-old homeowner, and sprayed deodorant in her eyes.

Using violence and threatening with a knife, the intruder demanded all the jewelry and money. She then stole a gold chain, earrings, and 70,000 drams before fleeing the scene.

Thanks to the prompt and professional work of the Vardenis police and the staff of the Gegharkunik regional department, the crime was solved shortly after it occurred. The 37-year-old woman, a resident of Martuni, was located.

Law enforcement confirmed that she was heading towards the capital, and the information was relayed to the patrol officers of Gegharkunik and Kotayk regions, as well as Charentsavan police. As a result of their joint efforts, she was arrested on the Sevan-Yerevan highway.

The knife was recovered during the search. Money and jewelry were also found in her possession. The woman has been presented to the investigative body.
