In Many Cases, Azerbaijanis Conduct Artificial Movements Along the Line of Contact, Says Abrahamyan

Deputy of the National Assembly’s "I Have Honor" faction Tigran Abrahamyan writes on his Facebook page: "When discussing enemy movements, accumulations, or activations along the line of contact, it is necessary to analyze all possible factors to objectively assess their purposes.

In many cases, Azerbaijanis conduct artificial movements along the line of contact solely to exert pressure during the negotiation process. In some instances, these movements aim to create an imitation of actions to mislead the Armenian side and inaccurately assess the situation on the front line.

The most dangerous scenario occurs when the enemy conducts movements with a certain regularity; at some point, this begins to be perceived by the Armenian side as a normal, everyday movement, and then an unexpected strike occurs. This is when the enemy seeks to operate under the principle of surprise, and if we examine especially the Azerbaijani behavior over the last 10 years, this approach has been applied multiple times.

The resumption of military-political operations is undoubtedly influenced by the current situation in the country, the viability of institutions, stability, regional background, and the logic of rivalries among key players; however, as a rule, it ultimately manifests itself on the battlefield.

The enemy must be studied and analyzed in various depths so that their possible strikes and advances can be prevented in a timely manner, as well as ensuring proper defense along the line of contact."
