US White House Representative on Armenian-Azerbaijani Conflict

John Kirby, the Coordinator for Strategic Communications at the US National Security Council, addressed several issues regarding the blockade of the Lachin corridor, Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, and the Russian military presence in Nagorno-Karabakh.

He stated, "It has been said before that we call on all parties to de-escalate tensions. We do not want to see any acts of violence, and we want to see all parties take appropriate steps to de-escalate tensions and cease violence."
