VIDEO: "Thick-branching trees are being destroyed from the roots," user reports

"There is large-scale tree cutting happening in Cascade now: thick-branching trees are being destroyed from the roots. Apparently, they didn't learn in school that trees produce oxygen. Instead of planting new ones and creating parks, this is how they are 'reforming'. Yerevan municipality, are you paying attention?" This is what user Nane Davtyan posted on her Facebook page.

It is worth noting that the municipality had announced that due to public concern regarding the ongoing tree replacement process in Yerevan, Armen Begoyan, the director of the ‘Greening and Environmental Protection’ community organization, is in the Cascade area to monitor the process and answer all questions troubling citizens.
