VIDEO: Xi Jinping departs from Russia amid the sounds of a marching band

Xi Jinping bids farewell to Russian colleagues at Vnukovo Airport.

A formal ceremony was held at the airport in connection with the leader's departure. The national flags of China and Russia were raised, and the anthems of both countries played.

Xi was seen off at the foot of the aircraft steps by, among others, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko.

During the three-day visit, the presidents of Russia and China held narrow and expanded negotiations with members of their delegations at the Grand Kremlin Palace, signed joint statements on the development of cooperation between the countries, and made final statements to the media.
