Video: Hrachya Sargsyan on His Resignation and Reasons

Shortly ago, Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan submitted his resignation. He announced this during a special session of the Yerevan City Council.

“As the council elections are approaching, the cooperation between the government and the council is good, we have no obstacles, and I want to announce my resignation,” he said.

“I will continue to work with the political team and focus on the development of our state. The candidate from the 'Civil Contract' party is Tigran Avinyan. I hope that the 'Civil Contract' will receive the trust of the Yerevan citizens and continue to implement important priority programs for our community,” he noted.
