Japan to Provide $470 Million in Non-Repayable Assistance to Ukraine
The Japanese authorities have decided to allocate $470 million in non-repayable assistance to Ukraine for energy and other needs, along with an additional $30 million for non-lethal equipment. The words of the Japanese Prime Minister were cited by the Japanese Kyodo agency.
“We will continue to support Ukraine unobstructedly, in a way that only Japan can. Japan will stand by Ukraine until peace returns to the beautiful Ukrainian land,” said Fumio Kishida during a joint press conference with Vladimir Zelensky after their meetings.
It is noteworthy that the Japanese Prime Minister arrived in Ukraine on March 21.
