How the Conflict in Ukraine Will End: Shoigu Responds

Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu has addressed the prospects of the conflict in Ukraine. “Every war ends with peace,” Shoigu told reporters in response to a question about how the conflict in Ukraine will end.

The defense minister did not answer a clarifying question regarding the timeline for this to occur. It is worth noting that Russia has been conducting a special military operation in eastern Ukraine since February 24 of last year.
