KP Members Listen to Onik Gasparyan's Speech for 5 Hours: Details
According to the "Zhoghovurd" daily, members of the ruling Civil Contract party did not pose any political questions to former Chief of Staff Onik Gasparyan, who was invited to the investigative commission examining the circumstances of the 44-day war. For instance, they did not ask why he demanded Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's resignation.
Instead, the KP members listened intently to Onik Gasparyan's speech for 5 hours, and during the question-and-answer session, they asked several questions related to the war, such as whose fault it was that we lost in certain areas, and so on.
According to our reliable sources, Onik Gasparyan was asked about Nikol Pashinyan's statement: "We lost the war because a fifth column operated within our army. This is my belief based on an analysis of several facts." This suggests that the discussion was about external provocations and internal machinations.
KP members did not receive the desired response. It is worth noting that next, the former Chief of Staff, currently facing charges, Artak Davtyan, will appear before the parliamentary commission.
