“The Main Player Remains Russia”: Alen Simonian
Russia continues to be the main mediator between Armenia and Azerbaijan in their negotiations. This was stated by the Chairman of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian, during a press briefing.
According to him, the exchange of proposals regarding the peace treaty between Yerevan and Baku is taking place with the mediation of various players, primarily Russia, which remains the main intermediary.
“The main player continues to be Russia, but there are also initiatives from the USA, and they are quite active. There are also initiatives from France,” said Simonian.
It is noteworthy that negotiations are currently taking place in Moscow between the foreign ministers of Russia and Armenia.
