Manchester United Player Engaged to Woman Who Accused Him of Rape

Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood is preparing to marry the woman who accused him of beating and raping her. This information was reported by Sport-Express.

Reports also claimed that the woman is pregnant with the footballer’s child and they are expecting to welcome the baby in the summer.

In January 2022, the 21-year-old footballer was arrested after images were posted on social media by his former girlfriend. The alleged victim claimed that she had been subjected to repeated violence by the player.

Following his arrest in January 2022, Greenwood was suspended from all games and training.

He was accused of assaulting, raping, and threatening to kill his girlfriend; however, the case was closed after key witnesses withdrew and new evidence emerged. All charges against him were dropped.

Despite this, Mason remains suspended from Manchester United.
