Acting Secretary of the Yerevan Municipality Seyran Mejlumyan Submits Resignation

Acting Secretary of the Yerevan Municipality Seyran Mejlumyan has submitted his resignation. This was reported by tert.am, referring to the Yerevan Municipality. It is worth noting that rumors have been circulating since yesterday about the resignation of Yerevan Mayor Hrachiya Sargsyan as well.

We tried to verify this information with Taron Gevorgyan, the deputy spokesperson for the municipality. He stated that they have no information regarding any changes: “If there are changes, we will announce them through our sources. Why do you think we are hiding anything?”

It should be recalled that Seyran Mejlumyan was appointed as the acting secretary of the municipality on July 19, 2022, by the decision of Hrachiya Sargsyan. Prior to this appointment, Mejlumyan served as an assistant to the mayor.
