Video: Shot Ex-Wife, Then Himself

On the morning of March 14, a report was received at the Malatya police department that a man had blocked a taxi at the intersection of Romanos Melikyan and Tichin streets in the capital, argued with the female passenger, then fired shots at her and himself.

The woman, who sustained injuries, along with the man, was transferred to the 'Astghik' medical center. Thanks to the quick response of the Malatya police, investigative measures revealed that the injured woman and the 42-year-old man were former spouses. The man had forcibly stopped the taxi, let his ex-wife out, argued with her, and then opened fire.

A firearm was discovered during the inspection of the crime scene. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified through preliminary investigation.
