VIDEO. They Must Show Respect Towards the Republic of Armenia: Pashinyan on the Entry Ban for Zatulin, Simonian, and Others
They must show respect towards the Republic of Armenia: This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a press conference, addressing the entry ban for Konstantin Zatulin, Margarita Simonyan, and others.
Specifically, during the press conference, a journalist recalled the ban on these individuals entering Armenia, highlighting that there are people who are unaware of their entry being prohibited, as they buy tickets but are not allowed to enter Armenia.
“If viewed more globally, Armenia is a sovereign state and has the right to expect respect towards itself. Armenia also has the right to utilize its sovereign tools to prevent encroachments on its interests,” Pashinyan noted. “If someone says, 'the Armenian government promised a corridor, let them give it,' what is this? By the way, are they still saying that they know they have not appealed to Article 4 of the CSTO, but rather to the 5th word of the 6th sentence of Article 2? These individuals are obligated to show respect to the Republic of Armenia, including the authority elected by the people. You say that certain individuals cannot enter Armenia; I want to draw your attention to a fact that if these individuals acted even one percent of what they have done against Armenia in the countries where they live, they would not be able to enter their own homes without a visa.”
