Large-Scale Drug Trafficking: A Patrol Officer Arrested

To confirm the details, we contacted Gor Abrahamyan, the spokesperson for the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia. He did not clarify whether the individual in question was a patrol officer but confirmed that two individuals were arrested yesterday in the Aragatsotn region.
“Two individuals were arrested on the basis of primary suspicion of possession and trafficking of narcotics. A crystalline substance was discovered during a search of one of the individuals. The examination concluded that the substance was methamphetamine of particularly large quantities. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 393, Part 3, Clause 2 of the RA Criminal Code (Article 393.
