Accident on Ashtarak-Aparan Highway: Injuries Reported

On March 14, at 20:00, the Ararat Crisis Management Center received a call reporting an accident near the twists of Ush village, with injuries present and needing rescue assistance.

A fire and rescue unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was found that at the 8th kilometer of the Ashtarak-Aparan highway, a "DAF" brand truck had veered off the roadway and overturned.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver had already been extracted from the vehicle. The rescuers de-energized the truck, secured the area, and helped a trapped passenger out of the truck, bringing them to the ambulance. The injured were hospitalized at the Ashtarak Medical Center, where their health condition was assessed as satisfactory.
