Video: Residents of Orta Mughan and Nabatkand Attempt to Block Baku-Karabakh Highway, Casualties Reported

Residents of the villages of Orta Mughan and Nabatkand in the Saatli region attempted to block the Baku-Karabakh highway. Karen Ghulyan reported this on his Facebook page.

“Today's attempt to block the main road leading to Baku was carried out by the residents of Nabatkand and Orta Mughan villages in Azerbaijan's Saatli region. The people were protesting against the lack of water supply. According to local residents, agricultural lands have not received water for a long time, resulting in the destruction of all crops. The police used force to disperse the protesters. There are many injured. Two individuals injured by rubber bullets have been hospitalized, and around ten people have been detained,” Ghulyan wrote.
