At this moment, a meeting is taking place in the city hall, during which Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan noted that everyone is ill and later inquired if there is a virus in the city hall.
As of March 13 at 10:00, the number of laboratory-confirmed measles cases in the Republic of Armenia has reached 50. Among them, 3 have been hospitalized, 19 have not been hospitalized, and 28 have been discharged, according to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.
The condition of hospitalized patients is assessed as moderate severity, with one in serious condition. Of those infected, 34 are children aged 3 months to 16 years, and 16 are adults aged 21 to 64 years.
Of the patients, 44 are unvaccinated against measles, 4 have received one dose of the vaccine, and 2 have received two doses.
It should be noted that measles vaccinations are included in the national vaccination schedule for children at ages 1 and 4-6 years.
