Lawyer Comments on the Investigation Results Regarding the 8 Soldiers Who Died in Fire
The lawyer representing 14 out of the 15 parents of the soldiers who died in the fire at a military shelter in Azat village, Norair Norikyan, finds the results of the forensic examination concerning the deaths of the 8 soldiers to be unreliable.
“We do not rule out the possibility of submitting a request for a second forensic examination. The results are highly questionable in terms of credibility; however, we are currently closely examining the conclusions and will soon make a relevant statement. These conclusions have raised more questions than answered, as the documentation of the causes of death has created a rather problematic situation,” he said in a conversation with NEWS.am.
According to the conclusions of the examination, the soldiers died from “carbon monoxide (smoke gas) and burn shock.” No drugs or psychotropic substances were found in the eight deceased soldiers.
