Wagner Organization Leader Prigozhin Decides to Run for Ukrainian Presidency

The head of the Wagner private military organization, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has announced his candidacy for the presidency.

“I am making a very important announcement: right now, looking around, I declare that I have political ambitions. I have made the decision to run for the office of the President of Ukraine in 2024. If I win the elections, then everything will be fine,” Prigozhin stated.

According to recent reports, the Wagner units are located 1.2 km away from the administrative center of Artemivsk. “This five-story building, from which smoke is rising, is the city hall, located one kilometer and two hundred meters away from the Artemivsk administrative center,” he informed.
