VIDEO. Stunning Aurora from Space: Astronauts Release Footage

Astronauts have filmed the Aurora from the International Space Station. Recall that stunning images of the aurora circulated on the internet in late February.

The aurora is the illumination of the upper layers of the Earth's atmosphere (80-1000 km). It is observed in the polar regions of the Earth and, rarely, in mid-latitudes. The bright, stunning aurora shimmers in the sky for several continuous hours.
