Russian Ministry of Defense on Transporting Humanitarian Cargo and the Situation in Artsakh
The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to carry out tasks in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. This is mentioned in the daily report of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Thirty observation posts are monitoring the situation around the clock and ensuring compliance with the ceasefire regime. No violations of the ceasefire have been reported in the last 24 hours.
Patrols have been conducted in the Martakert and Martuni regions, as well as along the Lachin corridor, using three routes.
The Russian peacekeeping column has escorted humanitarian cargo along the Goris-Stepanakert route. A humanitarian campaign was conducted to distribute food packages to vulnerable and large families in the Shushi region.
The engineer-sapper groups of the Russian peacekeeping contingent continue to clear mines from objects and terrains. During the day, 0.6 hectares of land were cleared.
Overall, since November 23, 2020, a total of 2,516.7 hectares, 689.5 km of roads, and 1,940 buildings have been cleared, with 26,779 explosive objects discovered and neutralized.
To ensure the safety of the Russian peacekeepers and to prevent possible incidents, continuous cooperation is maintained with the General Staffs of the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
