“In the Cold, People Stand in Line to Receive Food”: ARA Ombudsman to Brazilian Media
Human Rights Defender Gegham Stepanyan’s comments to the Brazilian outlet Estadão. He specifically stated:
“Today, the daily life of a person living in Artsakh is a struggle. Every day, people must adjust their routines to the timetable of electrical outages in order to plan accordingly. Finding food or any other necessary products is also a great difficulty.
The food crisis has directly struck Artsakh; people are forced to stand in line for hours in cold conditions near stores to receive a severely limited quantity of food supplies with vouchers provided by the government,” notes Human Rights Defender Gegham Stepanyan.
