David Tonoyan Prohibits Relatives from Visiting Him
The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports: According to information from the "Zhoghovurd" newspaper, former Minister of Defense of Armenia David Tonoyan has prohibited his relatives from going to the "Yerevan-Center" penitentiary, also known as the "KGB basement," to visit him.
The matter is that the law enforcement system has allowed only the close relatives of the former minister of defense to have the opportunity to visit him, but Tonoyan has banned his relatives from coming to see him.
It is noteworthy that David Tonoyan, who is accused of embezzling over four and a half million dollars in the "Incompetent Missiles" case, has already been in custody for one year and four months. Until now, no relatives were allowed to visit Tonoyan. The ban has now been lifted only for close relatives.
