VIDEO: "Your Place is in the Kitchen" - Lewandowski Reads Negative Comments About Barcelona Women's Team

Robert Lewandowski has appeared in Barcelona's video for International Women's Day. On March 8, Barcelona asked the Polish striker to read negative comments directed at the women's team, which they receive every day. Alongside Robert, women's FC Barcelona defender Maria Leon also read the comments.

Among other remarks, Lewandowski read the following comments: "We don't consider you worth anything," "No one wants to watch your games," "Your place is in the kitchen," "Women's football is not real football. Nobody cares," and more.

"It's hard for me to read and even hear these comments. I can only imagine what women must feel when reading them," Lewandowski said.

"What is the need to write these messages? If you don't like it, don't watch, but I don't understand why you continue to post such comments. We receive these every day and only because we are women. We will continue to fight for our rights so that the women who come after us can achieve more than we have," said Maria Leon.
